Text 'Fly In' Animation

news.microsoft.com

I have a slide with 3 bullet points. I have already animated them 'on
entrance.' Now I want to animate the first bullet to become grayed-out when
the 2nd bullet appears. Same for #2 and #3. Can that be done? How?
Thanks,

Hi

Which version are you using? In 2003 (and XP/2002 - not sure about earlier
versions) you can select 'Appear & dim' from the animation schemes task pane.
Alternatively, from the drop down menu next to your entrance animation in the
custom animation taskpane select effect options -> after animation -> select
the colour you want it to go (this works in 2007 too where there are no
animation schemes).

Post back if you need more info :)

I'm using PowerPoint 2007 but I still have the 2003 version on another
computer.
Want this to work in 2007. I don't recall seeing a 'Appear and Dim' option.

Lucy's "alternatively" option will work in 2007. Click Animations, then
Custom Animation to open the Custom Animation task pane. Then

"Appear and Dim" is an animation scheme -- which doesn't exist in PPT 2007.
