Text formating problem

Hello,

Whenever I type the letters "fi" in a word, the "i" contains an accent over
it instead of a dot. Very minor problem except that I can't get rid of the
accent mark and make it a regular dot. All other i's are fine - just in
conjunction with the f.

Any ideas?

See if you have an AutoCorrect entry that's producing this, though that
seems unlikely in the middle of a word.
