Text in slide master

Text placed in slide master in text box does not show up
in the other slides. Why?

What version of PowerPoint? XP-2003 have multiple masters and it may be
possible you have created a second (3rd, 4th...) master and are viewing the
first.

In addition to Troy's suggestion, you may also need to add the textbox
to the Title Slide layout.

PTT, Inc.

You will need to delete the Title Placeholder and create your own text box.
Then on each slide make sure the Title Placeholder isn't on the slide and
your own title will show up.
