Text on power point templates changes ... Why?

Hi all

I am trying to design a template and so far its going ok. The problems
start when I save it as a POT file. On opening the pot file as I would
normally when making a presentation the text boxes I placed have all shitfed
back to their "standard" positions.

Is there anyone who can tell me why?

Aliboyx,
Just a question, did you apply your changes in the master (View - master -
slide master), and not just in the slide itself? I know it sounds obvious
but just to make sure.
If you did apply your changes in the master, how are you applying your
template? And what version of PPT are you using?
Also, maybe you are using the title slide layout, your modifications to the
master slide will only show on other slide layouts. To have the title slides
change you have to make a title master slide.
