the bg color won't print on the edges of the paper in publisher

I am making a flier and I am useing publisher and for wahtever reason when I
do a print preview or actully print there is a white border around the page.
any ideas?

In addition, some printers that can print full bleed require that you
specify Photo paper.

Does your printer have a setting for this?

The one I now have (Canon pixma ip6000D) does, but if others before did, I
didn't notice or use it.

I've heard that about it needing to be set on glossy for borderless but
mine does it on anything.

I'm thinking if your printer doesn't have this, there might be a way to
figure it out, like setting the paper size 1/2" (or whatever the border
you're now getting is) bigger than what you're actually doing, to trick it
into thinking it's putting on the border when it's not. Don't know if this
would work or even how to figure it out but it's something I'd try if the
printer was adding borders and couldn't be set otherwise.

Also, printing it that much bigger (with the border) and cutting the border
off with a paper cutter. Depends on how many you are printing and need.

I don't really know what I'm doing a lot of the time, but I try and find
ways around this (LOL)
