I downloaded several holiday sounds (.cil and .mid). None of these will play
or install into the document even though they show up in the Gallery 5.0. Can
you tell me what to do?

The extension .cil has to be double-clicked before it will go into the Gallery, then
you can insert into your publication. Once you insert a sound into your document,
double-click it and it will play. The sound files are mostly used for web pages. I
have found some of the .midi sounds have very low volume.
Can you insert images okay?

I did not give you enough info before. Yes, I did double-click the .cil file
and supposedly it went into the Gallery, but when I insert it an error comes
up and says it was either removed or not installed. The sound icon is in the
Gallery but I just can't get it downloaded correctly I guess. The same
happens with the .mid file. I have Office 2000 and using Windows ME (it
didn't make a difference last year, maybe that is what's wrong?) Thank you
for answering me so promptly.
