The source of linked photos

I have got a document with a lot of linked photos. Now I can't find the photos. Is there a way to view the path to the photos in the document? Any suggestions appreciated.

Hit Alt+F9 to view field codes. That should display the path

<-*-><-*-><-*-><-*-><-*-><-*-><-*-><-*-
Hope this helps

When I do so (hitting Alt+F9) the code says {INCLUDEPICTURE "xxx.jpg" \* MERGEFORMAT \d
No path is seen.

I would do a search for xxx.jpg then, since the pictures appear NOT to have been linked, or were linked to files that reside in the same path as the document. I'm not positive about the syntax of that field code, but when I insert and link a picture, that field includes a path to the picture. Wish I could help more

<-*-><-*-><-*-><-*-><-*-><-*-><-*-><-*-
Hope this helps

If the document has been moved (or if you received it as an email
attachment), there is a good chance that the file path is useless. Unless
the links were relative and the photos have been moved/sent with the
document, they will probably have to be reinserted.
