There is a problem with Microsoft Project

Here is a problem with MS Project.

Say you want a calender in which only Sunday is holiday while
mon-saturdays are working days.

Anyone knows how to create such Calander. At our client site 6 out of 7
days are working days.

While Microsoft Project keeps 2 days holidays. Anyone knows how to
remove that?

Hi Sanny,

Go to Tools > Change Working Time. Select the calendar you are using
for the project (most likely the Standard Calendar). Click on the
column heading for Saturday (the S). Click in the option button for
Nondefault working time. Edit the From: and To: fields as needed.

Click the Options button and ensure that the Default start time and
Default end time match your calendar. If necessary edit the Hours per
day and Hours per week to match the calendar. (For example: if your
hours per day Monday through Saturday are 8 hours per day, set the hours
per week to 48.)

For additional information see FAQ #5 "Default Working Hours" at:
http://project.mvps.org/faqs.htm

I hope this helps. Let us know how you get along.

Ever so slightly better, maybe, is to leave the Standard Calendar as it is,
create a new calendar based on it, make Saturday working time and make it
the project calendar in Project, Project Information. That way you still
have the Standard Calendar if you need it.
