This is weird - missing non existent font

2003, XP Pro.

Working on a project, closed the program because I needed to install a font
(Zapf Chancery). Install font, restart application - am presented with a
missing font screen - the font? MS Shell Dlg - not something I've ever heard
of! It's only this publication, as far as I can ascertain, that's affected.
I am only using only the one font (Zapf Chancery) in the entire document -
so what is this font?!

Is 'Dlg' short for 'dialogue'?

Any solutions? No steps yet taken to repair, because this is the first
time - and only with this publication - that I've seen it.

That doesn't apply, as it's only the one publication that's affected.
There's nothing wrong with the folder, repairing doesn't help.
