thumbnail border colors

this isn't major, but, the hyperlink border colors for my thumbnails do not
get set to the theme hyperlink colors. if i try to change the border colors
thru the page options it won't let me, it says the page is set to a default
theme. the text hyperlinks are the correct colors but he thumbnails aren't.
this seems to happen regardless of the theme i choose in frontpage2003.

In older versions of FrontPage, you can make the border size "0" so it does
not show up at all.

You may be able to specify it in the thumbnail properties area in FP2003.

Usually that border color is controlled by the body tag with the "vlink" and
"link" color properties, which in your web site is the theme.

apparently in my older version of frontpage i was able to set the thumb
border colors to be the same as the text hyperlink colors. this doesn't seem
to be the case with fp2003. (or at least that option isn't in an obvious
place). can't do it under autothumb properties. i guess i'll have to go
into the code and do it manually :(

I think it is a glitch in frontpage2003 rather than something left out
because it's an out of date practice. If you make a page with no theme and
change the hyperlink
colors under page properties, it will apply to all hyperlinks (both the text
hyperlinks and the pic border hyperlinks). However, if you set the hyperlink
colors in a theme, it only applies to the text links, and not the pic border
links. Every theme in FP2003 has the same blue/purple default border,
regardless of the theme's color scheme. In some cases these colors clash
with the color scheme, another indication that this is a bug and not the
intended setup. Some programmer obviously left out a few lines of code.

i don't know HTML very well, so i'm not sure how to add the correct lines to
the themes to fix this bug.

The blue/purple is the IE default link colors, which the theme doesn't set, as the themes in FP2003
use CSS.

Most folks always want to remove the border from around images used as links, is there a specific
reason why you want to have the link borders?
