When we import schedules from our estimating software (Timberline - Sage
Software) we get tasks set up that have numerous resources attached (based on
what we bid to do the work with ie, dozer, dozer operator, laborer, etc...).
To make the scheduling work, we need to make the resources only set up as
labor hours. This is the only way to set up crews, however, when we change
the resources, project doesn't calculate the duration. I have the tasks set
as fixed work, and the duration is estimated, but work and duration doesnt
change with the changes in resources. I believe it is due to Timbelines
exporting, but am not sure. If anyone knows about the interfacing of this
software, PLEASE HELP!
