Timeline data imported from Project

I've been trying to import timeline data from Project into Visio, but have
run into problems with overlapping text. Other than flipping the text below
the timeline bar (which isn't enough to solve the problem), I am unable to
reposition the text boxes or otherwise manipulate them for readability. The
error message I receive is that there is shape or layer protection on the
shapes. I've removed all shape, layer and document protections. I've also
double checked to ensure that nothing is typed as a group. Am I missing
something? Anybody know how to get around this ridiculous road block?

If you are referring to the Milestone text, the I have had success by
changing the formula for the text block in the Master shape, but it is not
for the faint hearted.
