Timescale in print dialog box greyed out -- why?

I'm using Project 2003 Pro. I'm trying to print a project summary report for
the month of August, but when I try to select the date range, it's greyed
out. Any idea how to change this?

Hi MTF,

I don't believe it is possible to print a project summary report for
only a specific timespan -- the report is just that -- a summary of the
entire project.

You may be able to get close by creating a table applied to the Task
Sheet View to show the data from the Summary report (Start, Baseline
Start, Actual Start, Start Variance, etc.) and then applying filters to
show only the tasks in August. Then print the view.
