Title Slide in PowerPoint

When I create a new presentation from scratch I am unable to gain access to
Title Master under the view menu. The only way I can access this is to apply
a design template. Any ideas please?

Jan, It's there, just not as obvious as one might expect. Took me a
while to find it too (g).

View Master + Insert + New Title Master.

Hi All,
What am I missing on this process? I go into the Master view. I add a title
slide. I place it wahre I want. All looks wel. I can toggle between the
master and the tiltle using pag up and page down. I same and close the
master. I create a new ppp and select the pot that uses the master. No title
slide. If I view the master and tlggle between the master and tilte and see
the title but when I close the master I no longer see the title slide? This
si way confusing?

Thanks
John

I think you are making it harder than it is John. The Title Master is only
applied to slides that use the 2 title layouts (i.e. Title Slide & Title
Only) the others follow the Slide Master.

If you apply the saved POT design to the slide, than change that slide's
layout to one of those two, do you see the changes you would expect?

Post back if this doesn't clear it up for you,
