I went back some 10+ pages to try to get the answer to my problem. I
followed all the suggestions, but, still the sort was by first name...until
someone said to close Outlook and reopen it. Well, that did the trick! I am
using Outlook 2003 (before anyone jumps down my throat for not putting all
pertinent info in my message.
