When I hit the (to) button in order to add a e-mail address some of the address are with last name first and some are with the first name first. I have entered them all the same and would like for them to be arrange by last name the same as they are in the contacts part of outlook. I was under the impression that the address came from the contacts part of outlook.

For Outlook 2003 and, I htik, Outlook 2002:
Tools | Email Accounts | View or change existing directories or address
books ... Select the Outlook Address Book and then Change. You will find an
option "show names by"
