Too many formats

Hi could anyone help me. I've build a large application (about 1.6
Mb), but now I'm encountering the error message:"Too many formats".
Then it's not possible to continue to format text and cells. If I
take away a sheet, then I can continue for some time.

Seems to me that I've met some kind of limits in Excel. Any possible
solution.

I did, but could find anything useful in my situation. Did I overlook
something?

You may have overlooked the theme of the article.
