Toolbar images disappearing

Hi,
I have a problem with Powerpoint. When I customize my toolbar and then exit
PP and open again, I have my default toolbar. All buttons I drag are gone.??

Are you customizing the standard PPT tools or add-in tools? What version of
PPT?

It is the standard PPT toolbar components, ie. align center, group, bold,
etc. PPT Version 2002. Thanks
