Total daily actual work

Hi,
We are using Project Server 2007, no timesheets, only status updates.
Project managers want to see how many actual hours were reported by a
resource on a given day, including hours from other project managers'
projects.
Except for Data analysis views, I don't mind giving them permissions
for all views or resources.
Can I achieve that without Data analysis views or the use of
timesheets?
Thanks

Data Analysis is really the way to go for this. Not sure what your
limitation is regarding Data Analysis, but the sort of reporting
you're describing is right in the wheelhouse for the OLAP cubes.

Most of the other "reporting" in the native PWA UI will give you a
good high-level view across projects, and in-depth info on single
projects. Resource level reporting is pretty limited. You might try
something with Visual Reports in the Project Pro client - if you check
the box to "Load summary resource assignments" when you first launch
Project Pro and attach to the server, you may get what you're looking
for.

To me, Data Analysis has always been the MOPS deal-clincher. The kind
of portfolio-wide reporting you can do there is unequaled in any
desktop or workgroup setup.

Hope that helps!
