Track Changes-Deletions

I have converted from Word 2000 to Word XP.

When using the 'Track Changes' option, I can't find how
to turn off display of deleted text. In Word 2K there was
a specific option as to how deleted text should be
handled. This seems to have disappeared under XP.

How do I stop deleted text being shown, please?

Hi David,

To turn it off, run a macro containing the following code

Options.DeletedTextMark = wdDeletedTextMarkNone

To turn it back on again, you will need to run

Options.DeletedTextMark = wdDeletedTextMarkStrikeThrough

The option to change this via Tools>Options has been restored to Word 2003.
Who knows why they deleted it from XP.
