Track Changes -- Reviewing (2002 v. 2000)

J

Jaina

I am a frequent user of Track Changes. In Word 2000, I
reviewed documents with "Tools -> "Track Changes" -
"Review Changes." A dialogue box comes up, and as
you "accept" or "reject" changes, you automatically move
to the next change.

Now that I was converted to Word 2002, it looks like I
must *manually* click the "Next" button to get to the next
change. (In other words, I have to look up, away from the
text I'm reading and reviewing, to click a button on the
toolbar.) Most documents I review have HUNDREDS of
individual changes!

Please help me find the old 2000 dialogue box!!

Thanks!!

Hi Jaina

Yes, an ill-thought-out update to the whole revisions thing, IMHO.

The command is available from the AllCommands list in the Customize dialog -
it's called ToolsReviewRevisions. (If you drag it to the reviewing bar, it
then has the default title of 'Accept or Reject Changes'
