Track Manpower Requirements?

Any suggestions how to track manpower needs for 50 to 70 individual painting
projects, some booked over a year in the future? Goal it is track number of
painters needed over time as jobs are booked (and to be able to see when we
may have men free so we can bid work to be accomplished in such a period).
Example: One small job will require one painter for period June through
August; another medium size job may require 3 men for month of June; another
large job may require 3 men for during July, eight men for first half of
August, 2 men during September and one man during first half of October. If
all 50-70 currently booked jobs in aggregate show we will have painters
available next February then we can look for (bid) work that is scheduled to
be performed during that time.
