For privacy, how do you remove the name, date, time of review or reviewer in
the "tracked changes" function so as to be anonymous but so that all changes
are still visible to the reviewer???

For privacy, how do you remove the name, date, time of review or reviewer in
the "tracked changes" function so as to be anonymous but so that all changes
are still visible to the reviewer???

In Word 2003, go to Tools > Options > Security and check the box for
"Remove personal information from file properties on save". Then save
the document.

In Word 2007, go to Office button > Prepare > Document Inspector.
Check at least the "Document properties and personal information" item
and click Inspect. In the results dialog, click Remove All. Then save
the document.

In either case, the tracked changes will say "Author" instead of your
name (and also the names of any other reviewers).

Note that this may remove more than just the names in tracked changes.
If there's something else that you want to keep, you'll have to
replace it afterward.
