Hi,
I had purchased and installed MS Office on my VAIO laptop when I brok
the screen. I immediately bought the very same laptop as
replacement, but the version of MS Office on the new VAIO was obviousl
only a trial version and after a couple of months I am unable to edi
documents or spreadsheets.
My query was whether there is anyway to "transfer" my purchased copy o
MS Office from my old laptop to the new one, since I had only been usin
it for a year or so when I broke the first VAIO. Not sure if this i
technically possible or even if it infringes on any licensing laws, bu
it seems odd to have to purchase something a second time just becaus
something else (IE the screen on my older VAIO) is broken.
Many thanks,
Christia
