Transfer Office 97 to new computer

I just purchased a new computer. Can I transfer Office 97
from my old machine to the new machine. I only have a one
(1) user license. I tried to load the Office 97 disc but
it won't load??

You can in fact install Office 97 on as many machines as you wish (
conscience permitting)
To install office 97---run diskcleanup and then close all running programs
especially any Anti virus ones
Office 97 shoud then install OK
