transfer Outlook to new system

Hello,
I'm getting a new computer, and would like to transfer my current Outlook
installation to the new computer.
Is it as simple as copying a few files (which ones?) into the right
directories?
TIA for any advice or links....

You can't copy the program per say. You must install it from the setup. You
could however easily transfer your data. It is all stored in a PST file. You
can simply search for *.pst to find it if you don't know where it is stored.

You didn't mention your Outlook version so I'll assume you're using Outlook
2002 or later. Look at the following two articles for help with this -- one
is a primer on Outlook files, and the other gives instructions for moving to
a new Outlook 2002/2003 machine.
