Transferring Address Book Contents

I recently purchased a new pc with Windows XP. I have
attempted to import my address book from the old pc which
runs Windows 98. XP does not seem to want to import this
information. Can anyone help.

Also, it seems that I have an incorrect setting somewhere
as I can not access attachments that I am receiving in
XP. Help with this would also be appreciated.
