Transform message

Is there a way to change an email into a calendar entry
or vice versa? I would like to take emails that have all
the info about a meeting in them (why the people don't
send them as a calendar item is a whole other issue) and
I want to turn it into a calendar event without having to
transfer all of the info into a new calendar item.

That depends. Does the format of the message allow you to easily copy it to
an excelsheet (or any other datafile that stores data in structured format)
so it will show up in columns? If so, you can use the Import/Export wizard
to import it to your Calendar from a xls-file. For this you must also create
named ranges in Excel otherwise you are not able to link it to Outlook
fields (like the data and contact field).

Sorry, I misread your post. I thought you got one e-mail with dates for
several appointments (that's what they do at our place instead of creating a
reoccuring appointment).

For your situation you can drag the mailitem with a rightclick and drop it
on the calender. From there choose copy and a new appointment will be
created with the mail inserted as text in the body.
