Transparent Pictures PP97

Mike Brown

I am running MS Office 97 and have been asked to do a presentation which will involve superimposing one picture on top of another. Essentially what I want to do is show a photograph of a person and then superimpose some prison bars over the top of the photo so the 'prisoner' can be seen behind the bars? What is the best way to do it? As far as I can see I am so limited on 97 that I may not be able to do it
Thank
Mike

I think, that if the image with the prison bars is transparent with the
exception of the bars, you should have no problem putting one on top of the
other and having the bottom one show through the bars.

Prison bars should be easy to draw with rectangular AutoShapes. Draw them,
maybe using gradiants to make them look round, arrange them and group them.
This group can be animated as one object and will have no background.

Kind regards,
Ute

Ute - many thanks - it worked in principle ... all I have to do now is make some decent bars
