transpose paste special not available

I have copied some table from a web page. I want to transpose th
columns and rows. After I cut the columns, the paste special link i
not available to click on. The only choice is paste link.

the following fixes have also failed:

formatting all to text
moving data to a new workshee

When cutting, Paste Special is not available.

Use Copy>Paste Special>Transpose then delete the original columns/rows.
