I have Office 2000 and recently got a computer with the trial version of
office 2003. 2000 works fine for me, but I am having trouble geting it to
appear on the start menu. Also, i'd like to know if the trial version of
office 2003 will remove itself from the harddrive when the trial is up.

I want to make sure, because i know just enough to be dangerous. to
uninstall ofice 2003 myself, do i need to go into the Files on the hard drive
and delete them manually, or should the add/remove thing on the control panel
work?

Microsoft has been kind enough to let me use the trial version of Office 2003
for one month. I downloaded it from their site. I feel pretty confident that
if I don't have the money to buy my own copy by the end of January. Microsoft
will remove it sometime in February. The Lord giveth and the Lord taketh
away, blessed be the name of the Lord. I have really learned a lot about the
applications with their free couses. I didn't have any version of Office left
after my pc crashed. I had to reformatt the C drive. I lost Office and my
Norton Subscription. That add-delete programs thing does not delete
completely. I think you will have to uninstall the files from your C drive.
