Trick to reset slide animations doesn't work

I have used a suggested trick to reset animations in a slide for replay
by returning to a slide set to automatically advance in 0 seconds. It
worked well in PowerPoint. It isn't working, however, with the
PowerPoint Viewer 2003. Does anyone have any suggestions?

It should also work with the viewer. I see in a later post you mention a
video. Are you sure this isnt the problem (eg a broken link)

It's not resetting animations or videos. I've also used PPT Tool Fix
Links so I don't believe it is a link issue.

I used custom show to reset animations and videos using PPT Viewer
2003. It appears to have solved the problem. Thank you for your
willingness to follow up on the question.
