trouble opening Outlook 2002

I have a new computer, and I just installed DSL 2 days
ago.
I had set up Outlook 2002, and it appeared to be running
fine for the past couple of days.

Now, when I try to open Outlook, I get the following:

msmgs.exe - Application Error

The instruction at "0x68899a56" referenced memory
at "0x018e0424." The memory could not be "read."

Any clues as to what went wrong? Your help is much
appreciated!

Turn off instant messaging in Outlook - Tools->options->Other.
