Trouble with Mark up view vs final view

When I receive a document that has gone through track
changes, I can't get WORD to save copy in final view.
If I close the document and reopen it, it still opens in
Mark up view. When I send the document via email, the
document opens in mark up view. How can I make WORD save
and retain the final version?
