Trying to combine two Publisher Documents

I am new to Publisher and am trying to create a Sports Program. I have a
Publisher document that I have created several pages in with pictures. I
tried to import a Word document with text but it created a new file for the
imported information. I want it in the other file. Is there a way to copy
the entire file into the other? Sorry for my ignorance.

I started to respond earlier when my husband walked in holding our male cat.
Phil is a weird cat - he jumps at the slightest noise. As Keith was standing
there chatting with me, Topaz, the alpha female in our home, came in and
must have stepped on something crinkly. Phil freaked - big time. Keith tried
to restrain him. Wrong move on Keith's part. He ended up with a torn shirt
(we just bought it weekend before last) and several holes in his arm.

Who knew that answering posts in the newsgroup could be hazardous to your
wardrobe and body?

Tiny holes I could deal with - Phil out a dime sized hone in his shirt and
two claw holes. And, of course, they are on the middle of his right chest.
No way to mend them discretely.

Funny thing is that this cat almost always sleeps on his back, stretched
out, legs spread - open to the world. He feels secure enough when he's
snoozing.

Ok I am very new to the Publisher program. In fact I do not currently own
the program yet. I am considering ordering it to work on a sports program.
I saw this post and was wondering if this would be a good software program to
make a sports program with. I am trying to make a football program for
distribution to the public and will need to import advertisments and many
pictures. Just interested in the simplicity of the program for this project.
If this is not the program I need any suggestions would be helpful.
Thanks

Mike
