trying to get Office SP1, to install

I have Outlook 2002, and want to install Office SP1, but every time it
downloads it starts the installation and when it gets to the end of it, it
says that if failed,

how do I delete this temp file that was downloaded, as this might be
corrupt?
if not, how else can I get it to install the updates. I have looked at
Windows Update site, but can not find where to download each update one by
one.

error 1328 error applying patch to file C:\config.Msi\PT29F.tmp. it has
probably been updated by other means, and can no longer be modified with
this patch.

the errors above are what i am getting, i have deleted these files thinking
that they were the updaters temp files, for storing.

but it still does not update.

please help me.
