Turning revisionsmarks off

L

Lars

I made a template (with protected area) and i looks fine ("TRK" is greyed).

When i use the template (doc) revisions are marked - "TRK on". I can't turn
it off ?????

Was the template created in a previous version of Word?

They modified the Tracked Changes feature in Word 2002 and you could
be encountering a glitch in the TRK display.

Go to the Tools menu and see if you have an "Unprotect Document"
command. If so then the document was protected for Tracked Changes
using document protection. Unprotect the document and see if that
resolves the issue. You may want to try protecting the document for
Tracked Changes and then unprotecting it again and see if that clears
up the issue.

If that doesn't do it then I would create a new document and use
Insert/File and insert the contents of the template to recreate it.
