Two label categories on the Y-axis

Hi

I have a problem with MS Graph. In Excel i can make a nice graph with two
label categories up the y-axis (1st category: age, gender, geography; 2nd
category: -29, 30-49, 50+; male, female; urban, rural and so on). Percentage
along the x-axis. These look fine with the 1st category on the far left and
the 2nd category fits into the 1st category's "boxes". Hope you can imagine
it. In excel there are three columns; 1st category, 2nd category and
percentage).

Now, why doesn't MS Graph draw the same chart when I import the chain(?)?
Here it thinks that the second category is a value too.
Can you help?

Hope im not too confusing

If I understand correctly, you might try changing the number formatting of
the second category. I'm not sure that will work, though (because honestly,
I'm not *certain* I understand how your graph is set up).

The Excel graphing engine is more complete than PPT's, so I'd actually
suggest just importing the Excel graph into PPT. I'd think that would make
your life easier. You can copy the graph in Excel and then use Edit/Paste
Special in PPT to get the graph into PPT. Which version of PPT will have an
effect on what options you have if you use plain paste.
