Typing a document

Ok, I've never had this happen before. But when I open Microsoft word to
start a new document, I get a message that says that there isn't sufficent
memory to support the font. I can type stuff, but it just doesn't show up.
I'v tried to change the font, but it doesn't help any. Some of the fonts I
change it to, show up, except it looks like it in Morris Code or something.
What can I do?
