Typing emails

I am currently encountering a couple of issues with my
email. The first issue deals with being unable to single-
type new emails (at the present it automatically double
spaces). The second issue is the font is a pale font and I
have been unable to change the color (I have checked the
fonts on the tool bar and in the email
account/options/font).

Any recommendations?

What message format are you using? It sounds like HTML or Word. Please
