Typing "it" in WORD produces é. How do I reverse this?

This change was made accidentally. I cannot find where this action is
controlled.
Help please...

I think there's an autocorrect set on 'it'. Click on Tools and Autocorrect.
Scroll down through the list until you find replace 'it' ... Select it and
press the delete button. Hopefully this is your answer.
