Ugly project 2007

I was recently "upgraded" to project 2007 and find the interface
really ugly. Is there any way to change it to look like the previous
version? As far as I can see, there isn't. Attempting to modify bar
styles just makes it worse.

Hello Rob,

I guess you don't like the 3-D bar style.
To remove that:

Tools / Options / Views : uncheck the Bar and shapes in Gantt views in 3-D
box
