UML Diagrams

Hi,

I'm not sure if this is the right newsgroup, so please let me know if I'm on
a hiding to nothing.

I've just started learning UML and am using Visio to help me. What isn't in
the help is some indication as to how to manage the diagrams. Help
indicates that you can create subsystems in the tree structure to reflect
..NET namespaces and projects, but it doesn't cover the lifecycle of the
analysis and design.

Is it advisable to create all of the class diagrams, use case, activity,
state and sequence diagrams in one visio file, or distribute it all amongst
various visio files?

Thanks in advance...

Its better to keep things in one file. That way you have complete
access to your model.

Not sure if Visio allows you to split the model into
multiple files while maitaining a single model.
