UNABLE TO ACTIVATE PUBLISHER 2003

After installing the trial version of the new Publisher
2003 I tried to register and activate the software
program. To activate the software program directs you to
synchronize your computer time with that of
time.windows.com found under 'the date time properties'
and updating it. I did that. I called hp, the supplier of
my PC if they have experienced similar problem with their
pre-loaded windows xp. They said this was their first,
and they are unable to help me. Microsoft support are not
willing to help because this is a trial version. I don't
want to buy a software I did not try first. In the past,I
never had any problem in the past installing any
microsoft software program. HELP!

Have you checked that your time zone is set correctly?
