Unable to crypt emails with Outlook 2000

I've obtained a free Thawte's Personal E-mail Certificates which is supposed
to be used to sign and encrypt emails. With Outlook 2000 I can sign messages
but not crypt them: a pop-up window tells me that my certificate doesn't
corespond to my email (false), or is not valid (false, he is), or cannot be
used for another pb.

Ideas ?
