I've installed un installed and reinstalled MS Office XP with Outlook
several time but I keep getting an "Unable to display the folder.
Microsoft Outlook could not access the specified folder location. The
folder no longer exists." message in the display panel and a long
error address in the address bar.

And you are picking the folder from the folder list or the Outlook Bar? The
reason that I ask is that the Outlook Bar might just have a bad reference to
the folder. You can either remove/add the reference again to the outlook
bar or start Outlook 1 time with the /resetoutlookbar command line switch.

If picking the folder out from the folder list, then I might guess a
corrupted view. However I've never seen Outlook throw a message that the
folder was unavailable based on its unique alpha-numeric id. Starting
Outlook with the /cleanviews command line switch might be the alternative to
the /resetoutlookbar switch.

/neo

ps - /cleanviews deletes all custom views and resets the built-in views back
to their defaults.

I'm not familiar with using switches to open MS programs I normally
just click on the short cut however the properties of the short cut
under the short cut tab in the target bar has "C:\Program
Files\Microsoft Office\Office10\OUTLOOK.EXE /recycle". I'm assuming
you mean to add or replace the /recycle switch?
