Unable to go to email links

Internet explorer has recently stopped opening and going
to a website when clicking a link in an email. I am
using Outlook and don't think I have changed any settings
but I can't seem to click on links and I can't even
select and copy links to enter into the IE address bar
manually. Could anyone help me with this problem please?
