unable to load ActExe.dll

Hello -
When I start up Outlook, I receive the following error
message: The add-in "C:\WINDOWS\System32\ActExe.dll"
could not be installed or loaded. It then tells me that
this may be resolved through the 'detect and repair'
function, which does not fix this. I am running Windows
XP and Outlook 2002. Any assistance would be greatly
appreciated.

First, thanks for the reply - I did install ACT! 6.0
(contact management software), I apologize, but I typed
the file incorrectly - it should have been ActExt.dll.
In any case, this file is not on my computer any where.
If it is on the CD for the ACT! software, how do I get it
onto my computer to make this error message go away?
Thanks for the assistance.

I haven't use Act but it sounds like their install tried to integrate
something into Outlook but only setup the configuration to look for a
file that their install never installed. You'll probably need to
contact Act regarding their install. For now, use the menu navigation I
mentioned earlier to disable their semi-installed extension from Outlook
so Outlook doesn't try to load something that doesn't exist. Disabling
the non-existent but specified extension should be sufficient to
eliminate the startup error message when you load Outlook. If it is a
COM add-in, you can also opt to remove it.

The add-in are listed in the registry under:

<hkey>\Software\Microsoft\Office\Outlook\AddIns

where <hkey> is:

HKEY_CURRENT_USER (for add-ins only accessible by you)
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE (for add-in accessible by all users)
