We have a user working with Outllook 2002 who is a delegate of her managers mail box. The user opens her managers mailbox then sorts the inbox (or a subfolder) on the 'from' field. With the sort order applied she is not able to jump to a sender simply by pressing the first letter of the senders name (e.g. Pressing S should take you to the Simon etc). Instead it takes her to the top of the current list (e.g. if a sender called Tim is highlighted it will go to the start of the T's).
However, in her own mailbox, everything works as expected.
We have got her to try differnent PC's and also different versions of Outlook.
Other users with Delegate permissions cannot replicate this error.
The only common factor when it fails is where the folder in question is populated with thousands of mail messages (smaller folders do not display this strange behaviour).
Can anyone offer suggestions, other than "reduce the amount of e-mail in the folders" or shed any light of this sort of problem.
Thanks in advance.
