Empty Junk E-Mail Folder: option missing

chris menzies

Hi.

This question is related to Outlook 2003 via an Exchange 2003 Server.

My colleague at work has full access to another persons mailbox, but is
missing the 'Empty Junk E-Mail Folder' option. She can see his emails,
delete his emails manually, but it missing the above option.

She has an 'Emport Junk E-Mail Folder' for her own mailbox, and for another
couple of colleagues mailboxes that she has access to, but for some bizarre
reason she is missing this option on just this one colleague mailbox.

How can we reinstate this?

what permission does she have on the mailbox and junk folder? AFAIK, shared
mailboxes shouldn't have the option for empty deleted on shared mailboxes,
but if she has it on other mailboxes she needs to compare permissions.

Hi Diane.

My colleague has both READ PERMISSION & FULL MAILBOX ACCESS on both
mailboxes............but on mailbox1 she has the EMPTY JUNK EMAIL FOLDER
option, whereas on mailbox2 she doesnt.
